PostSubject: Rhopalurus junceus communal?    5/5/2014, 5:02 pm

Hi there!

I've been thinking about getting a male and a female Rhopalurus junceus for breeding purposes.. and because I find them to be the most wonderful scorpions out there. I was wondering: would I be able to put them together in a 20x20x30 terrarium (lxdxh, cm)? Or would I need something bigger? I don't want to risk any kind of cannibalism, so I'd also be willing to buy a second terrarium of the same size, just to make sure.

Also, while I'm at it: the same questions apply to a couple of Rhopalurus garridoi specimens.

Thanks in advance!

I've kept an adult pair in something smaller without having any problems (other than the male being a finicky eater. He only ate twice a month). Don't know if the same applies to garridoi though
