Subject: Can Parabuthus villosus be kept communally? 4/6/2014, 1:48 pm
I have a pair of 4i Parabuthus Villosus Black..Can they be kept communal? They seem to not like each other when i first put them together..they have sufficient hides and space but whenever they come to contact they display very defensive behaviour..should i keep them separate or should i leave them in for a while to see if they get used to each other's company?

I've moved your question to its own thread.
The defensive behaviour you have described suggests that you should keep them separately.

Alright i will get to that in a bit..what if they sting each other? Are they immune to venom from their own species or will they be affected and get hurt?

They're immune to there own venom, so you should be ok if they did happen to sting each other.
I would def. separate them though.

With Parabuthus I would refrain from keeping them together when they aren't mature. Also, if one of them injects enough venom into the other one it can still die, this I have personally witnessed with other Parabuthus species.
