Hey guys. Newbie here.

I ran across this the other day. Thought I would try and post it to see what you guys think. Is this a valid way to tell if a Asian Forrest scorpion is make or female?

No, it's not. One scorpion is simply fatter than the other. Wink†It has nothing to do with the sex of it.

How is the best way to sex them? Is it don't by the pectines?

Yes, the precise way is by the pectine count. As for H.longimanus, sexual dimorphism is usually physically visible but for most of the other heterometrus species, counting the pectines is the only sure way.

Hmmm.. †scratch†ok. Guess I'm gonna have to get a good picture of them so I can count them. I'll see if I can post one here in a day or so.
