| Update to this thread:
My pair have been in the same enclosure since the first mating attempt. Last night and the night before I have found them dancing together so either there has been no spermatophore yet or they just like dancing hahaha
Will keep you posted on any further developments

| Ok so the pair have been dancing about for the last 3 nights. The male is dragging the female about for periods of over 12 hours Should I assume the mate has been unsuccesful so far and leave the male in, or should I remove the male before one of the 2 gets eaten? Thoughts please as I have not seen any aggression from either of the 2 but dont want any of them to get hurt The male has another female to attend to soon | |

| Personally I'd leave him in there for a little bit until you either see a spermatophore or she starts to show signs of aggression.
Of course there's nothing wrong with you taking him out and trying with a different female.
It's up to you. | |

| Ok thanks
Will leave him in there as my other female is subadult still and in premoult
I just dont want the male to get killed as if I manage to get the subadult female to moult succesfully, i would be able to double my chances of getting a brood of "Hadrurings" LOL

| Well after about 5 mating dances which i observed, and a few i surely missed, i found my male gored to death in a corner of the terrarium. So now its a waiting game i guess. I am planning on allowing a natural hibernation so if she is gravid I probably wont have a brood until next spring. She is very fat though and quite feisty in the last few weeks | |

| Try shining a flashlight under her to see if there are any visible embryos. Sometimes you can see them. Keep us updated! | |
