I'm thinking about getting a emperor scorpion, but my local pet store has them constantly under a black light. Would they be sick or dying or is it ok to by one? They seem to be fine.

Its fine to buy them buy you shouldn't do it. However, it is better to buy from breeders who know more about the animal and house them correctly.
