Hi im new here i own a couple of scorpions but and relatively new to the hobby.  Just brought this little guy and would like some help identifying it if at all possible. Purchased as a pandinus imperator like i said im a novice but i don't believe that it is. The last T i brought from said pet shop was labeled wrong also. found this forum via your facebook page thank you.

Looks like Pandinus cavimanus by looking at the legs

i thought the pedipalps were too smooth to consider a cavimanus. I own a couple

Then I have no real idea. Maybe a Heterometrus species.

It could be a male, in which case the chela are smooth.



Frankly I'm not sure what it is. The most I can narrow it down to is that it's either Pandinus or Heterometrus.


Either way it's immature, making a correct ID nearly impossible. You may have to wait a couple molts for a positive ID. There's a million and one things it could be.
