H. arizonensis! Yay!

Picked up a nice H. arizonensis today. This thing is awesome and adapting well. Went right to feeding and burrowing pretty much immediately when put in the enclosure. Man, these guys are fast! Lightening speed grabbing the cricket you see it getting in the second picture.

They are actually one of my favorites despite not being the most dangerous or hard to acquire. I think they are the perfect first time owner scorp. No need to mess with or worry about % RH

Grats! I love my H.arizonensis. They are real landscapers! Every morning it's a surprise to see what happend to the tank. Huge piles of sand, pieces of slate rock moved. A few days ago i added a few extra inches of desert bedding and now she is completely of the radar, probably creating a sweet tunnel system.

Thanks! Yeah... I'm pretty impressed by it. One of my more active specimens, for sure. It digs a lot like the B. leptochelys. I need to sex it here soon. If it's male, I'm thinking of naming it Alan Grant. Lol. "Because Grant's like me... He's a digger."
