Extatosoma tiaratum

Got a pair of these a few days ago and was wondering if anybody else kept or are keeping phasmids and has some helpful hints?
At the moment I am feeding them Eucalyptus and Rose and they seem to like it. They aren't the most exciting creatures to keep but they look awesome.

Don't really know much about them, but I know that Cornell's entomology department has several species though if you'd like to contact some of the staff and ask. (http://entomology.cornell.edu/cals/entomology/people/faculty/index.cfm)

Thanks Scorpion. I've got all the basic info, just wanted to know if someone else kept them and how. I will drop them an e-mail and see what they have got to say.

I kept them for a year or so. None died of illness, they all eventually died of old age :'( Keep them watered, change the leaves at least once a week, but twice a week should be prefferable.

Thanks dude. The age is the only thing I dislike about them. The female molted this morning and she is now about 10cm stretched out and 3 times as big as the male.
