Some G.Roseas Empty
PostSubject: Some G.Roseas   Some G.Roseas Empty1/21/2013, 6:00 pm

I acquired a couple G. roseas not too long ago from a local shop in my area.

Terrarium:

This one is probably a molt or two ahead of the second one and is much more vibrant in coloration. Neither have molted, so I'm not positive of the sex as of yet.
Rosea#1:

Here is the second. Both of these have been extremely docile and easily handleable. Neither has shown any signs of aggression and the only time any hair flicking was done was by this little one when she was feeding. I got a little too close when grabbing her water dish and she got a tad defensive.
Rosea#2:

Chowing down on some crickets.
NomNom:

And for those who say these guys don't drink from a water dish...

This guy does this regularly.

I will say this little guy does drink all the time. The other one loves nothing more than piling dirt and webbing into its dish.

Well, both of my G. roseas molted and turned out female Smile. Boy did they turn out gorgeous! They also recieved their names, Athena and Artemis.
Athena:
Artemis:

I then picked up a fantastic pink form MM from a buddy.
Apollo:

Both females were receptive, though not quite full grown. Athena is approximately 5" at the moment, while Artermis is roughly 4.5".
Breeding to Athena:
Breeding to Artemis:

Now to wait for the little ones! Smile
