I wonder who's in here?

It's my new juvenile Hadrurus arizonensis! Danceparty

Also, some Centruroides gracilis

Mating after two hours, deemed unsuccessful.

And one of my C. gracilis babies taking a stroll.

Nice looking additions. You'll be amazed what the Desert Hairy does to his (her?) enclosure once he gets settled in and starts tunneling.

The arizonensis totally trashed his enclosure (I did a pectine count, 34 on the left, and 37 on the right. Verdict: male) and when I fed him, he relentlessly stung his meal 4 times. It was absolutely crazy!

Nope. If so, it would probably be dead or dying from mycosis.

Nope, the Philippines has one of the biggest selection of scorpions. You will definitely find both species over there if you keep a look out...

The house is more quiet now, without that little guy trying to dig all the time.

I thought you might get used to him;)
Perhaps some day Ed... some day... we will all have happy healthy digging H.Arizonensis in our homes...
What a joy that would be.....
I am starting to miss Jabba.

But looking at Patricks happy pictures makes me feel happy for the little man, it its such a nice looking Haddy.

Emotions....
Quickly... plug me back into the collective....
