Wow super nice setup! Unless I am missing it I would add a little water bowl. Looks like your swammer will be molting soon. I had a few of them that looked like that recently and its amazing how different they look afterwards.

Hey, you took my advice! Killer set up man, I love it. Can it get under that rock on the humid side? You should put a hide on both sides if you haven't.

This one looked exactly like yours does before it molted its armor off. It takes a while for them to harden and darken completely up after molting.

I think it needs a little more substrate.

Agreed.
I would more than triple the layer you have in it right now, to 5 or 6 inches, they can burrow if given the opportunity.

I absolutely love the shape of your terrarium!! It looks beautiful in it's slightly curved shape and the lid looks well made.
It looks like it's curving a bit inwards though, I hope it is fixed tightly?

Personally, the white on brown contrast doesn't appeal to me, but I guess that is personal taste of course.
The big stones are awesome though, they look very cool, and the left side of the enclosure looks nice with the moss.

Personally I would have made it all the way like the left side and added more moss to the side of the stones, if you would to combine that with a little more wood, that would give it that rainforresty feel to it:)

I don't want you to get the feeling I want to be negative, not at all.
But that's my personal taste and some tips, you may or may not agree with.

Also I would add a nice large water dish for that extra humidity, and keep the humidity around 70/80% , your Swammy looks like it is in full sausage mode, so molting won't be far off.

Take care,

Joey

I love the skull in there man just be careful. I had put myself in a bad position when i used a real skull in one of my dessert tanks i had it in with an A. australis and where the brain cavity was i had tinny holes in it way to small i thought for my scorpion to crawl through but as i learned over the years if they can prove you wrong they will. It crawled in the back of the brain cavity trapped in there to the point where it couldn't get out i let her sit in there for 6 days before i actually took action i took a screw driver and popped of the back cavity piece that was attached to the skull by prying it through on of the little holes the scorpion crawled in. being very careful not to hurt the girl or damage the skull or get tagged. But i did it all successfully without indecent. but now that the brain cavity to the skull is open what ever tank i put it in for my scorpions they all love that one spot. Well i guess the short version of this story is plug up the holes with a little putty or something. or make sure they cant get into a small hole

I once used a piece of fake driftwood designed for aquariums in Shredders tank, and he burrowed under and crawled inside a hole that was just big enough for him to fit in. After about a half an hour of shaking, nudging, and pulling, I got him out. Both of us were stressed to the breaking point haha. I taped it up good and he never burrowed much after that for some reason.

Be careful when using tape. Heat will often make it shrink or peal back and you'll end up with a stuck scorpion. Use something like Great Stuff or silicone or hot glue to plug hole and cracks in decorations.
