Well my A.bicolor made the mistake of showing my his pectines so i decided to take about 10 or so photos to try to tell his gender but this is the best i got can anyone help me with it?A.bicolor Img_0310

I can't say for sure but I'm thinking male. Males have 23-29 and females 19-24.

Edit the photo in MS Paint (or an equivalent) and place a dot on each tooth to keep track of the count.

its hard to say for sure he looks like it but i can not be positive on this. really the lighter coloration on the back is throwing me off maby its just from the camera idk

Some of it is camera flash but even in lower light you can tell he is a brownish color i finnaly got him to eat so i dont think hes in premolt =/

Correct. Males of this specie have 23-29 teeth. He may also be mature, or one off. They dont get much larger than that. IME. I've only kept the aeneas, and only own the aeneas morph

Male for sure. Looks subadult to me but could be an adult. You can send him my way after my a.bicolor pops (in year most likely). It would be nice to have some of that brown mixed in.

Yea i would love to do a trade thing for some babies but the guy i got him from said if i were to get rid of him he wanted it back =/
