Hey guys. Back again with trying to sex my Emperors. I hope this time the pictures are clear and definitive enough for a sure answer

Here is the bigger Emperor



And here is the smaller juvinile Emperor

Thank you chrisc. Now on to the next question. I've been told that the female is still juvenile, but the male is an adult. Will there be any problems to having them in the same tank until the female has reached maturity?

There shouldn't be as long as you feed them both weekly. Offer each one a cricket and they will never cannibalize. As emps they aren't prone to either way but the bigger one may hog the food if you just toss 2 in and don't offer each one separately.

I agree about the sexing.

I had noticed that the smaller one would eat like crazy. Since we have had the juvenile ( about a month ) it hasn't been unusual to put two-three crickets in the tank with just that one every two days and they are all gone after one day. but as you could probably tell from the pictures "she" is not starting to swell up and get fat like some pictures of over fed emperors i have seen. Is this a precursor to a molt?
