If that's a Pandinus sp. or Heterometrus sp., then it's a male.

Pandinus sp (species) is what Mike meant, not a new brand of Pandinus (teehee)

Pandinus and Heterometus both look the same "sexing wise" underneath which is why he suggested both species since we cant see from the pic if its one or the other
