they are snails so i think its saying one snail that is half male and half female as they are androgynous

yeah, haf boy half girl, all achitina and indeed most muluscs are hermaphrodites having both male and female genitalia. (well, as close as)


During mating the larger achintina plays the female obviously having more capability for more eggs. I wont drone on cos not everyone finds this interesting and wrong part of forum,

EDIT: Sexed all 4 V. puritanus, and noticed that I can see scorplings in both! The unsexed C. sculps are still babies so I haven't sexed them yet. The female has visible babies too!
