 U. mordax babies....

These are 2nd and 3rd instars I think....I haven't had any cannibalism so I am continuing to raise them communally. Although they do play tug of war with the crickets sometimes. I have a few more females ready to pop...but they have looked that way for months. Mr. mordax should be proud haha.

My guess would be third instar. May I suggest bumping the humidity slightly?

I tried keeping a bunch of second instar communally but discovered a burrow only containing one that previously had two. Sad

Thanks! One side of the container has their native soil and the other has coco fiber which is moist. That way they can choose. I mist the dry side once a week as well.

If I knew what I was coming back to...I may very well have stayed gone! We post FAQs because they are Frequently Asked Questions and there are more pressing matters. It was great a year and a half ago when we were progressing but now, the honeymoon is over and it's grown stagnant.
