Chickens!!

So you know how you see something cute at a farm market and can't resist bringing them home. Well that happened to me...

I bought 3 baby chicks, a Barred Rock, a Ameraucana, and a Rhode Island Red.

I want chickens so bad! when we get a bigger house or even a bigger garden im going to get some "recharge" hens, the old battery hens needing new loving homes!

Lori raised RIRs for a science project in high school to get them to imprint. She loves chickens. Hers were great -- they'd follow her around and come when she called them. Until they got old they were even housetrained to some extent.
