Oh and forgot to add.... there are some rumours flying around that they are changing the DWA to add more scorpions and the more feisty species of tarantula. i.e. pokies etc

This is a load of rubbish. I have the name and direct number for a senior guy at DEFRA who assured me that, since it took them about 7 years to do the last amendment to the Act, it will probably be another 10 years at least, before they decide to do anything about it again!

So you can all put your minds to rest on this front

I heard about the change to it, glad its not actually going to be changed. And, I know about the Buthid scorp thing, thats SO annoying. There goes my hopes of B. jacksoni
