corn definatly, problem with ball or royal pythons is that they can get picky, stop eating for no known reason and have you living on edge for literally months until they eat again.

I keep ratsnakes which are related to corns and they're a lot easier to keep than ball pythons, believe me.

I had a ball python years ago and it went off frozen food and would only eat live. and believe me i tried every trick in the book to get it to eat frozen again. so we fed it live under supervision.
Then she decided that she wasn't hungry.... FOR 9 MONTHS! she wasn't overfed, when we fed her it was a reasonably sized meal for her size, she wasn't overweight. She was lovely and healthy but after 3 months of not eating i started to get worried. It was a great relief after 9 months when she finally started eating again.

So save a royal/ball for when you have more experience, know sickness symptoms, and can relax when it stops eating because you know there's nothing wrong with it. Coz otherwise it will drive you nuts!

Nice color morph! Are you going to give it some substrate? We've got ours on aspen shavings and he loves to hide in them when he isn't chilling on his branch.

"Normal" is still a morph of sorts . . . call it the "original" color morph. Very Happy
