yeah a baby boa is called a neonate because they are born live, they dont come from an egg. Snakes from eggs = Hatchlings Snakes born live = Neonates But yeah get a neonate then you can grow in experience as he/she grows in size

Well i have my local shop i dunno what age to put on the boas there but there a few foot already, other than that all i can think of is the good old internet, asked my mate he gets all his stuff from 888reptiles, i had a look on there, theres a fair few different boa's http://www.888reptiles.co.uk/reptilecollectionsub.php?SubCategoryID=184My price range limits me to all the ones under £100 though, im not that loaded to go buying the one on there thats £995 lol. But yeah theres a few for under £100 as you can see, but the common boa takes my fancy, i emailed them and asked what age they are and size they sell the common ones, waiting reply

Its a good show and well worth it plus there will be lots of young boas available, common boas usually go for between £40 and £80. £80 is on the expensive side at a show, at a pet shop I would never pay more than £80 for a young BCI

That is my local shop, wouldnt listen much to there list of what they got, i go in there every week to get the food for my emp's, they aint got near half the stuff they say lol. They do have some nice stuff there though, bright yellow snake called an eyelash viper i think? Got a massive "WARNING DANGEROUS" sticker on the tank, but looks really nice lol.

eyelash vipers are one of my favourites, even if they dont have what you want in stock if you go in there and ask them if they could get you a young BCI they should be more than happy to help. Dont forget pet shops can get hold of things, what they have in stock isnt all they can get, they usually only stock common animals as they sell, and some stock DWA to attract people to the shop lol. That been said I cant see them lying about having BCI's they are pretty damn common

For an adult female youd be looking at a 5x2x2 at the very least, bigger is always better.
